Guidelines for the use of wood flame retardants
Announcer:道尔  Date:2020/1/10 8:58:26  Views:404

Improper use of wood flame retardants by many manufacturers will result in lower flame retardant effects and will also cause huge losses to people. So what is the correct way to do it? Then follow Dell editor to look at some of the misunderstandings of wood combustion accelerators.

Wood flame retardant is mainly composed of lignin, cellulose and hemicellulose. It has a low fire point, is easy to decay and easy to chemically degrade, but it is difficult to dissolve and melt. The general processing method does not affect it, so we will use special methods, such as spraying, soaking, vacuum, cooking.

The first misunderstanding-the time of discharge

The flame retardant effect of wood flame retardants is directly linked to time, and must not be discharged in advance because of the desire to save time. In order to improve the flame retardant effect, it is recommended to discharge at normal temperature.

The second biggest misunderstanding-the choice of wood

The moisture content of wood also affects the flame retardant effect. Generally, the flame retardant effect of relatively dry wood will be better, because the dry wood will increase the absorption of the flame retardant liquid. Therefore, the wood drying step must not be omitted before the wood flame retardant processing.

The third big misunderstanding-grasp of concentration

Different concentrations of the flame retardant liquid will cause the flame retardant effect of the wood. The concentration is not only because of the configuration solution, but also because of the container opening problem during the flame retardant process. In order to maintain a stable concentration of the flame retardant liquid, we recommend capping. If another flame retardant solution is required during processing, be sure to configure the same concentration to avoid concentration instability.
