Halogenated flame retardant refers to a flame retardant mixture composed of a halogen-containing polymer or a halogen-containing flame retardant. It mainly includes antimony trioxide and decabromodiphenyl ether, which is also commonly referred to as a bromine antimony flame retardant. Bromine antimony flame retardant has excellent flame retardancy and has been widely used as a material for blocking olefins. However, when a fire occurs, such materials made of halogen-containing flame retardants will generate a large amount of smoke and toxic corrosive hydrogen halide when heated, causing secondary hazards. Halogen-free flame retardants are mainly phosphorus-based compounds and metal hydroxides. The new flame retardant system has a small amount of smoke during combustion and does not produce corrosive and toxic gases. Halogen-free flame retardant is a high-performance phosphorus-nitrogen-based organic flame retardant, which is a triazine trione compound and a triazine triamine compound.
