2. Improved processing fluidity The addition of low-molecular compounds has a positive effect on improving the processing fluidity of nylon. Especially when a suitable dispersant is added, the fluidity of the material is greatly improved. It is worth mentioning that the nitrogen-based flame retardant nylon has particularly good fluidity;


3. The heat resistance has changed, and the heat resistance of bromine flame retardant nylon has decreased compared to pure nylon. Of course, this deficiency can be remedied by adding appropriate antioxidants. In addition, during the forming process, reduce the processing temperature as much as possible to avoid the problem of thermal oxygen aging of the material;


4. Friction resistance decreases, and the flame resistance of nylon will decrease after adding flame retardant. Therefore, flame retardant nylon is generally not suitable for use as a wear-resistant material.


The addition of flame retardants has a large impact on the mechanical properties of the product. Since most of the flame retardants are low molecular compounds, their compatibility with nylon is poor. Therefore, the addition of flame retardants will reduce the mechanical properties of nylon. With the increase of the amount of flame retardant, the impact strength and flexural strength of flame retardant PA6 and flame retardant PA66 show a downward trend. Whether the flame retardant is dispersed uniformly in flame retardant nylon has a certain effect on the flame retardant effect. Surface treatment can improve the adhesion and dispersibility between the flame retardant and the nylon substrate.
